Air crash of the plane of Siberia Airlines on July 9, 2006 in the city of Irkutsk
On July 9, 2006, while landing at the airport of Irkutsk, a passenger airbus A-310 of Siberia Airlines (S7) crashed on flight 778 from Moscow to Irkutsk. The plane failed to stop on the runway, rolled out of its borders and crashed into a nearby garage complex. As a result of the disaster, 124 people died, 79 people were saved, but were injured.
